We are thrilled to present artwork created by the young people taking part in Prism, our Youth Engagement programme.
Education has always been at the core of Happy Valley Pride’s mission, we make it a priority to educate the next generation with lessons of tolerance, love and equality, and this year we’ve worked with more schools and youth groups than ever before.
Young people learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community, anti-bullying and the diversity of families in our area.
Our youth work is led by Terry Logan, together with artist Adam Pryce, they play a leading role in the provision of quality creative learning through education and art.
The programme has been recognised by Stonewall and also won a Service to the Community award from Hebden Royd Town Council.
The Youth Pride Takeover forms part of The Big Day Out on the 25th July.
