“You don’t hear voices like that very often do you – staggering, there’s not much you can say when someone’s that talented” - Justin Hawkins (The Darkness).

The Incident are an exciting, new teenage brother and sister duo from Halifax - Tom Davies (lead vocalist, pianist & songwriter) & Emma Maggie Davies (lead vocalist, guitar).

2024 was the year The Incident burst onto the scene with their debut single, which was selected by Abbey Road as one of its top 5 tracks of the week. The young duo, known for their exhilarating live performances were swiftly invited to play for Noel Gallagher, The Pixies and Richard Ashcroft’s VIP Live Lounge at The Piece Hall in Halifax, all three shows sold out. They appeared at Electric Bloom, Happy Valley Pride’s youth music event earlier this year.

This is a partner event organised by the band and The Trades Club.

Jacob Alon

SOLD-OUT.

The first show to be announced for this year's Happy Valley Pride festival, Jacob Alon is a Scottish singer-songwriter with a profound gift for storytelling. Both intimate and devastatingly introspective, their music is touched by a rare timelessness. Drawing fair comparisons to artists such as Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright, Alon’s sound cuts through the air with powerful and haunting vocals, intricate guitar playing, and pensive, poetic lyrics.

'Breathtaking' - NME.

'A distinctive and powerful voice' - Rolling Stone.

'Heart-stoppingly beautiful' - Clash.

'They are going to be huge' - The Herald.

Alon recently made a big impression on Later with Jools Holland (see the video below)...
