The biggest night in town from 'The biggest voice in town. Global domination awaits!' - TIME OUT (UK)

Le Gateau Chocolat: Musicals Mayhem

Le Gateau Chocolat has been top of Happy Valley Pride's wish-list for years, and at long last the amazing performance icon is here, headlining a very special night.

Imagine a Music Box, a Chocolate Box, a Juke Box, and a Dress-Up Box all collide and burst into life… Their name would be Le Gateau Chocolat!

Your favourite Black, bearded, and bass singing drag icon hits Happy Valley Pride for one enchanted evening of musical theatre madness.

Expect a mountain of laughs, a stream of nostalgia, and a tug at the heartstring as Gateau crams every single musical you know and love into an hour of high kicks, high drag and high glamour.

Frankie Thompson: Worst of British Selection.

Gateau will be joined by the'hysterically funny, deeply strange' (Time Out) acclaimed clown Frankie Thompson. The idiot behind smash hit Edinburgh shows CAttS and BODY SHOW will present highlights from their solo work. Frankie has performed across the UK with sell-out runs in London, Edinburgh, Bristol and Brighton. She was a semi-finalist in the BBC New Comedian of The Year Awards 2024.

Jacob Alon

LIMITED TICKETS REMAINING.

The first show to be announced for this year's Happy Valley Pride festival, Jacob Alon is a Scottish singer-songwriter with a profound gift for storytelling. Both intimate and devastatingly introspective, their music is touched by a rare timelessness. Drawing fair comparisons to artists such as Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright, Alon’s sound cuts through the air with powerful and haunting vocals, intricate guitar playing, and pensive, poetic lyrics.

'Breathtaking' - NME.

'A distinctive and powerful voice' - Rolling Stone.

'Heart-stoppingly beautiful' - Clash.

'They are going to be huge' - The Herald.

Alon recently made a big impression on Later with Jools Holland (see the video below)...
