Event Information
Trans Awareness Week starts on the 13th November. On the evening of Wednesday 17th we will be holding our annual vigil for Transgender Day of Remembrance, with local DJ and trans activist Kim Lana, at the wavey steps on Bridge Gate in Hebden Bridge.
Kim and Jenny Wilson, Chair of Happy Valley Pride, will speak and take a moment to reflect and honour the memory of the members of the trans community who have been lost over the past year. We hope that you will be able to join us.
Transgender Day of Remembrance takes place on Saturday the 20th November, but as Hebden Bridge can be busy at the weekends we chose to hold our vigil earlier in the week.
