Creativity is at our core

Education has been at the core of our mission since our inception, and Happy Valley Pride makes it a priority to educate the next generations with lessons of tolerance, love and equality.

Event Information

This year, we have worked with 20 schools and youth groups across Calderdale to help students learn more about the LGBTQIA+ community, anti-bullying and the diversity of families in our area. Our work has been recognised by Stonewall who chose us as one of the Prides to visit in 2019. The Happy Valley Pride Youth Engagement Programme is led by Terry Logan, working with Adam Pryce, and plays a leading role in the provision of quality creative learning for young people around LGBTQIA+ life through education and art.
